This remarkable piece was crafted from a rough chunk of slag glass, initially resembling the sail of a sailboat. After carefully smoothing and cutting the glass, I inserted a vibrant dichroic glass core that adds depth and intrigue. During the final polishing stage, I discovered tiny bubbles within the slag glass. Inspired by my wife's observation that these bubbles resembled the Milky Way, I decided to name this unique piece accordingly. The enchanting interplay of colors and textures in "Milky Way" captures the beauty of both nature and craftsmanship.
